Production Supervisor I - Swing Shift
Overview
Lead a team of employees in Metal Fabrication Assembly and Test at Crane Aerospace and Electronics. Oversee daily operations to meet customer demand while ensuring safety and quality. What You'll Do11
- 1Review and analyze daily KPIs to identify gaps and implement problem solving techniques
- 2Ensure timely resolution of quality issues through non-conforming materials process
- 3Act as liaison between production and engineering teams to finalize manufacturing instructions
- 4Develop and allocate resources to meet customer requirements and production targets
- 5Make staffing decisions aligned with HR procedures to build and grow the team
- 6Coach and mentor employees using performance planning to foster growth
- 7Collaborate with supply chain to create material replenishment systems
- 8Maintain equipment compliance with calibration and maintenance protocols
- 9Drive lean manufacturing initiatives to optimize efficiency and accuracy
- 10Participate in root cause analysis using 8 Step 5 Why Cause and Effect Fishbone methods
- 11Manage multiple shifts and coordinate cross-functional tasks
Requirements11
- 1Minimum 2 years experience in aerospace or electronics manufacturing
- 2Strong knowledge of cellular manufacturing practices and continuous improvement principles
- 3Intermediate proficiency with MS Office applications
- 4BA or BS degree in Operations Management or related field
- 5Familiarity with cloud-based project management software
- 6Proven ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- 7Experience with Lean manufacturing techniques and 5S methodology
- 8Excellent communication skills for cross-level interactions
- 9Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
- 10Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and push up to 25 pounds
- 11Valid driver's license required for site access
