What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and maintain detailed production schedules using ERP and scheduling platforms to meet customer demands
  • 2Plan production sequences to optimize workflow and minimize downtime across the plant
  • 3Collaborate with Project Managers to develop and maintain baseline project schedules
  • 4Execute scheduling directives from the Director of Production Scheduling and communicate changes to stakeholders
  • 5Coordinate with production supervisors to track progress, identify constraints, and align on priorities
  • 6Coordinate with Purchasing to incorporate procurement lead times and material availability into schedules
  • 7Continuously monitor production status and update schedules for real-time changes
  • 8Identify bottlenecks and capacity constraints and propose process improvements
  • 9Ensure accurate data entry and reporting within ERP and scheduling systems
  • 10Communicate schedule updates, risks, and changes clearly to the Director and stakeholders

Requirements10

  • 12–5+ years in production scheduling or manufacturing planning
  • 2Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field preferred
  • 3Experience in pipe manufacturing or water/wastewater infrastructure products is a plus
  • 4Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera (P6) including resource loading capabilities
  • 5Proficiency in scheduling techniques and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • 6Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • 7Ability to review and analyze schedules and their impact on projects
  • 8Strong oral and written communication skills
  • 9Proven proficiency in Production Planning & Scheduling
  • 10Experience with ERP systems and real-time scheduling updates
