Production Planner, Manufacturing & Scheduling
Overview
You'll own production planning and scheduling for a Value Stream at Regal Rexnord's West Chester, PA facility, ensuring on-time delivery and hitting SQDC targets. You'll coordinate materials, labor, and capacity across Supply Chain, Sourcing, and Sales. Your work keeps customer commitments met in a regulated manufacturing environment. You'll use RBS tools and Kaizen to drive continuous improvement. This role stands out for its direct impact on plant performance and cross-functional collaboration.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build production schedules that meet customer promise dates and optimize load.
- 2Confirm material availability with Supply Chain; escalate shortages impacting the build plan.
- 3Coordinate with Sourcing and internal suppliers to secure on-time component delivery.
- 4Align direct labor deployment with Supervisors to execute the plan.
- 5Manage Kanban systems and place MRP releases for purchased components.
- 6Adjust line capacity and machine availability to support production priorities.
- 7Drive root-cause problem-solving to build countermeasures for KPI gaps.
- 8Communicate the build plan visually to team members.
- 9Sustain inventory accuracy to prevent shortages and excess.
- 10Facilitate Kaizen events and apply Daily Management to improve processes.
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering preferred.
- 23+ years in production scheduling or planning.
- 33+ years in a manufacturing environment.
- 4Experience with MRP systems like Oracle or SAP.
- 5Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience preferred.
- 6Working knowledge of ISO9001 or AS9100.
- 7Strong analytical and data analysis capability.
- 8Effective cross-functional communication skills.
- 9U.S. Person status per export control laws.
