Overview

Plan, schedule and monitor the movement of product and orders through production at a mid-size Swiss screw machining and multi-axis lathe shop. Coordinate materials with Purchasing, Production and Engineering to maintain on-time delivery. Support CNC, secondary operations, and outside processing scheduling using ERP systems and scheduling tools. Provide customers with delivery updates and resolve inquiries, while reviewing costs and lead times to optimize production.

  • 1Build production plans and schedules to meet deadlines and deliver on-time shipments
  • 2Coordinate materials, tooling, and consumables with Purchasing and Engineering to prevent downtime
  • 3Support CNC and secondary operations scheduling and track daily machine counts in ERP systems
  • 4Provide customer updates on delivery status and respond to inquiries
  • 5Review travelers for technical accuracy and establish machine lead times
  • 6Disseminate daily project information to customers and internal teams
  • 7Compare actual vs estimated costs for completed jobs and share insights with stakeholders

Requirements9

  • 1High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree desirable
  • 2APICS certification desirable
  • 32+ years of production planning experience in manufacturing
  • 4Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
  • 5Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • 6Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • 7Team player
  • 8Able to commute to Gilbert AZ 85233
  • 9Experience in aerospace or precision machining is a plus
