Master Planner Scheduler

What You'll Do11
- 1Prioritize manufacturing orders to maximize revenue impact
- 2Develop and maintain the master production schedule based on demand and resource availability
- 3Provide weekly production outputs comparing planned versus actual results
- 4Collaborate with the Materials Manager to issue clear-to-build directives
- 5Monitor and adjust manufacturing dates alongside the Materials Manager
- 6Sequence orders strategically considering revenue impact and customer commitments
- 7Investigate bottlenecks and troubleshoot MRP and ERP logic issues
- 8Implement pragmatic planning logic and capacity models to optimize material flow
- 9Manage excess and obsolete inventory levels
- 10Follow work-in-process from start to finish adhering to kit release schedules
- 11Ensure timely completion of special runs
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management Operations Management or Business Administration from an accredited institution
- 23-7 years of progressive experience in production planning master scheduling or materials planning within a regulated manufacturing setting such as aerospace defense or electronics
- 3Strong commercial awareness demonstrating understanding of financial and revenue impacts of scheduling decisions
- 4Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems like Epicor SAP Oracle Dynamics Infor
- 5Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including PivotTables PowerPivot XLOOKUP forecasting and data modeling
- 6APICS ASCM CPIM certification preferred
- 7Direct experience with Epicor ERP advantageous
- 8Lean Manufacturing Certification or Six Sigma Green Belt beneficial
- 9High initiative self-directed problem solving and independent data analysis skills
- 10Eagerness to learn directly without requiring full system automation
