Production Operator, Solar Manufacturing & Training
Overview
Own the hands-on operation of photovoltaic module production at scale within a solar manufacturing line. You will operate equipment, monitor metrics, and ensure quality while learning maintenance tasks and interfacing with factory computer systems. Collaborate with shifts to maintain safety, data capture, and issue escalation. This role offers growth into data-driven tooling and process control in a growing solar operation.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and operate production equipment to produce solar modules following specifications
- 2Monitor output and quality metrics to ensure conformance
- 3Maintain records of production activities and report inconsistencies or equipment issues
- 4Adhere to safety procedures and PPE requirements
- 5Interface with equipment computers to monitor parameters and alarms
- 6Monitor process data and make decisions to maintain process control
- 7Escalate issues and communicate with team during shift changes
- 8Collect data and provide reporting as needed
- 9Assist new employees and supervisors in achieving targets
- 10Execute SOPs and assist the team in meeting production goals
Requirements5
- 1No diploma required; manufacturing experience preferred
- 2Basic computer literacy and ability to use mobile systems and simple tool interfaces
- 3Ability to use basic hand tools and measurement tools
- 4Basic math skills relevant to production metrics
- 5Willingness to learn to interface with machine control panels and troubleshoot
