Product Manager Cost RevSpring
Overview
Own the roadmap for the cost engine at RevSpring, driving accuracy and scalability while leading a team of engineers. Partner with VP of Price Transparency and CTO to shape technical direction and ensure platform consistency across health system and health plan products.
What You'll Do9
- 1Own the roadmap for the cost engine prioritizing investment across accuracy improvements new data sources performance and scalability
- 2Lead a team of engineers setting clear priorities reviewing technical approaches removing blockers and holding the team accountable to quality standards
- 3Partner with VP of Data and CTO to align on data strategy architecture and long-term direction for the cost engine
- 4Safeguard accuracy of cost and benefit information by defining monitoring standards and driving resolution of output issues
- 5Communicate platform capabilities constraints and roadmap trade-offs to engineering leadership product peers and stakeholders
- 6Manage a backlog serving multiple downstream teams without direct authority over their roadmaps
- 7Gather and reconcile requirements from multiple internal stakeholders with competing priorities explaining trade-offs clearly
- 8Understand healthcare cost estimation and benefit design to ensure consistent member and patient experiences
- 9Collaborate with payer side EDI clearinghouse experience to address external dependencies

- 1Specific job skills: 2-5 years product management experience platform internal tool or shared service for multiple product teams
- 2Comfort leading engineers directly and working hands-on with technical stakeholders on architecture and prioritization decisions
- 3Ability to gather and reconcile requirements from multiple internal stakeholders with competing priorities and communicate trade-offs clearly
- 4Understanding of healthcare cost estimation benefit design and data accuracy principles
- 5Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- 6Physical capabilities: regular sitting hands-on interaction standing occasional lifting up to 10 pounds
