Senior Product Manager - Pricing | PODS
Overview
You will own the three-year vision and roadmap for PODS' digital pricing experiences, transforming how customers plan, book, and manage moves. You will lead a dedicated engineering team to build and evolve pricing systems, from quote generation to price elasticity testing. Collaborating with Marketing, Finance, IT, and Operations, you will launch innovative products that drive business results. With full autonomy, you will shape decisions using data and customer insights.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build a three-year product vision and translate it into annual roadmaps for the pricing and quoting experience.
- 2Partner with engineering and data science to evolve pricing systems, including quote generation, competitive assessment, and automated price-setting.
- 3Design and run A/B pricing experiments, converting learnings into roadmap priorities.
- 4Collaborate with finance, revenue management, and marketing to set pricing governance, margin targets, and promotional strategy.
- 5Own success metrics such as quote-to-order conversion, average booking value, and margin.
- 6Drive end-to-end product delivery from concept to launch, working directly with engineers on enhancements.
- 7Represent customer and stakeholder needs in executive-level prioritization and planning.
- 8Deliver autonomously in undefined product strategy situations, navigating complex technical challenges.
Requirements10
- 17+ years of product or program management, product marketing, or technology experience.
- 25+ years of technical product or program management experience.
- 3Comfort with SQL and data analysis.
- 4Experience contributing to engineering discussions on technology decisions and product strategy.
- 5Experience building customer-facing products with a multi-year roadmap.
- 6Experience representing critical customers and stakeholders in executive-level planning.
- 7Demonstrated ability to deliver independently in undefined product strategy contexts.
- 8Experience with end-to-end product delivery and direct collaboration with engineers.
- 9Preferred: Quantitative Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, math, engineering, or statistics.
- 10Preferred: Experience with pricing, monetization, or revenue optimization products.
