Procurement Specialist, engineering sourcing & vendor management
Overview
Own procurement operations across multiple categories at scale, ensuring timely delivery and regulatory compliance. Lead strategic sourcing, vendor management, and cost control to optimize supply chain efficiency. Collaborate with engineering, warehouse, and headquarters teams to support cross functional operations. This role offers a hands on, impactful position in a growing organization.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and manage day to day engineering procurement activities including quotations, price comparisons, negotiations, purchase orders, and delivery tracking
- 2Assist with urgent procurement requests to ensure materials reach project sites on time
- 3Maintain procurement documentation including orders, quotations, customs documents, and records
- 4Verify supplier invoices, freight charges, and procurement costs and report discrepancies
- 5Resolve returns, shortages, incorrect shipments, damaged goods, and delivery discrepancies with suppliers
- 6Coordinate with warehouse to verify received quantities and PO accuracy
- 7Track domestic, ocean, and air shipments and communicate with logistics providers
- 8Prepare import documentation and logistics records such as Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, BOL, and AWB
- 9Support equipment rental operations by obtaining quotations and managing renewals and returns
- 10Coordinate with Taiwan headquarters and cross functional teams to support procurement operations
Requirements5
- 1Prior experience in procurement, supply chain management, international logistics, warehouse operations, or related fields
- 2Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- 3Strong numerical aptitude to verify quotations, quantities, unit prices, and invoices
- 4Effective English communication skills with U.S. suppliers
- 5Detail oriented, highly organized with strong follow up and time management skills
