Procurement Specialist, Oracle & SAP & ERP Procurement in Manufacturing
Overview
Procurement ownership of sourcing and supplier management at scale within a heavy manufacturing setting. Work with ERP systems such as Oracle and SAP to manage purchase orders, costs, and invoices. Collaborate with internal teams to define procurement strategies that reduce cost and ensure timely project delivery. Support RFQ processes, negotiations, contract development, and supplier performance improvements. This role emphasizes cross functional alignment, governance, and disciplined procurement execution.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and own purchase orders, cost calculations, and invoice accuracy to support timely project delivery
- 2Design and optimize supplier relationships to reduce cost while maintaining quality and service levels
- 3Lead RFQ process development, negotiations, and contract administration with internal and external stakeholders
- 4Manage delivery of services, equipment, and materials across sites ensuring compliance and on time arrivals
- 5Oversee supplier performance and identify alternate sources to strengthen the supply base
- 6Drive cross functional collaboration with project teams, vendors, and leadership to align sourcing strategy
- 7Monitor compliance with contracting policies and procurement procedures
- 8Prepare and update procurement reports, records, and pricing data
- 9Scale purchasing operations in a high pace environment while maintaining accuracy
- 10Coordinate with ERP systems to ensure data integrity and reporting across purchasing functions
Requirements10
- 12+ years in a purchasing function in heavy manufacturing and multi tasking environments
- 2Experience with ERP systems and Oracle Financials including EDI or related integrations
- 3Proficient with Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
- 4Impeccable attendance and stable work history
- 5Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence internal stakeholders
- 6Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders in a high pace, high pressure environment
- 7Experience with SAP or other ERP systems and RFQ process support
- 8Attention to compliance with company policies and procedures and supplier performance standards
- 9Hybrid work model in Hilliard, OH and willingness to travel as needed
- 10Demonstrated ability to build and maintain supplier relationships to optimize cost and service
