Process Lead, Operations & Logistics
Overview
As a Process Lead at Gopuff, you own the operational heartbeat of our Philadelphia facility, directing the Pack and Receive and Kitchen teams to hit order accuracy targets. You are the on-shift leader who coaches associates, troubleshoots defects in real time, and ensures every order ships out the door in minutes. Reporting to the Site Leader or Manager, you will quarterback the shift, manage labor efficiency, and drive continuous improvement across all site processes. This role demands a hands-on leader who can step into any operational gap, from packing orders to completing ICQA audits, while keeping the customer experience flawless.
What You'll Do10
- 1Direct all associate activities during the shift, including assigning tasks and managing labor to meet order volume and pack time targets.
- 2Coach and train new associates on site and kitchen workflows, ensuring they master order accuracy and safety protocols.
- 3Complete ICQA and damage or expiry audits during low-volume periods to maintain inventory integrity.
- 4Escalate site issues to Site Leadership, Regional Leadership, and Live Monitoring in real time to resolve bottlenecks and equipment failures.
- 5Perform manual driver routing and dispatching adjustments to optimize delivery windows.
- 6Close or open the facility by executing checklists, including food safety and cleanliness inspections.
- 7Lead shelf moves and backstock reorganization to improve picking efficiency and reduce mispack rates.
- 8Troubleshoot defects and conduct root cause analysis for order errors, then implement corrective actions.
- 9Execute site-specific projects like audit counts, new hire onboarding, and food safety audits.
- 10Operate carts, pallet jacks, and dollies to move product across the warehouse when shift coverage gaps appear.
Requirements7
- 12+ years of internal Gopuff experience or 2+ years of leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, or restaurant operations.
- 21+ years improving processes and efficiencies, with ServeSafe Certification highly preferred.
- 3Ability to work peak hours (5pm - 3am), including weekends and holidays as business needs require.
- 4Capacity to stand, bend, reach, and walk for full shifts and lift up to 49 pounds.
- 5Experience handling products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, or alcohol.
- 6Professional fluency in Spanish preferred.
- 7Comfort working in freezer locations periodically during shifts.
