Private Equity Senior Product Specialist, Real Assets Sourcing
Overview
You will own product sourcing and origination for Private Equity and Real Assets across the Alternative Investments platform at Bank of America. You will manage complex transactions from marketing to closing, negotiating fees and terms with fund sponsors. You will coordinate with sales, due diligence, and legal teams to launch and oversee feeder funds and direct investments. This role stands out for its deep focus on illiquid assets, including private equity, credit, real estate, and infrastructure.
What You'll Do8
- 1Source and evaluate new private equity and real asset fund opportunities to expand the product calendar.
- 2Negotiate fee structures and business terms with fund managers to optimize client outcomes.
- 3Coordinate the legal structure and operational setup for each new product, including feeder fund and direct investment launches.
- 4Drive the due diligence process, collaborating with internal teams to assess investment, business, and legal risks.
- 5Oversee existing fund relationships, addressing emerging matters and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- 6Draft formal communications for financial advisors and clients regarding product updates and platform changes.
- 7Integrate new offerings across the Bank of America platform to ensure seamless access for advisors and clients.
- 8Maintain comprehensive knowledge of private equity fund structures and industry trends to inform product decisions.
Requirements7
- 18+ years of general financial industry experience with a focus on private markets.
- 2Knowledge of financial markets required; private equity or real assets experience preferred.
- 3Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a team environment.
- 4Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and internal interactions.
- 5SIE, Series 7, 63/65 or 66 required within 120 days of start date.
- 6Bachelor's degree preferred, with MBA a plus, ideally in Finance or Business.
- 7Strong background in alternative investments with deal sourcing or origination experience.
