Overview
Own the onboarding of private equity and hedge funds onto Bank of America's Alternative Investments platform, collaborating with operations and origination teams. Serve as the primary liaison between product management, operations, and fund managers, resolving complex operational issues including AML compliance. Drive product improvements and process efficiencies across the platform, ensuring smooth fund launches and advisor support. What You'll Do10
- 1Partner with the private equity and hedge fund origination team to onboard new funds to the Alternative Investments platform.
- 2Respond to inquiries on existing funds from financial advisors and sales teams, providing expert guidance.
- 3Maintain relationships with fund managers and administrators, developing communications for financial advisors.
- 4Serve as the operational liaison between Alternative Investments and fund managers, including review of AML documents.
- 5Resolve chronic service delivery issues by identifying root causes and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- 6Act as the product representative in platform conversion and consolidation projects.
- 7Facilitate best-practice discussions and operational efficiency improvements.
- 8Create and communicate credit risk policies, procedures, and implementation standards.
- 9Perform product volume, trend, and unit cost analysis to inform profitability and pricing decisions.
- 10Negotiate operational fund onboarding requirements with fund managers and transfer agents.
Requirements8
- 12+ years of general financial services experience.
- 22+ years in alternative investments.
- 3Strong communication and collaboration skills across business groups.
- 4Ability to multi-task and manage daily responsibilities alongside projects.
- 5Proven self-starter with a creative approach to problem-solving.
- 6History of process improvement initiatives.
- 7Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- 8Bachelor's degree, preferably in business.
