We seek a Principal Software Quality Assurance Engineer to enhance Collins Aerospace design methods and mentor engineering teams. What You'll Do6
- 1Assure new developments meet customer company DO-178 and regulatory requirements
- 2Audit engineering teams for compliance throughout the development lifecycle
- 3Employ quality tools like Root Cause Analysis and Variation Reduction
- 4Analyze project data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions
- 5Support transition to production by resolving D&D related quality issues
- 6Tailor project processes and approvals based on lessons learned
Requirements5
- 1Minimum 8 years relevant experience or an advanced degree with 5 years experience
- 2Proven experience in software development and engineering lifecycle management
- 3Familiarity with systems engineering development using ARP4754
- 4Aerospace industry experience preferred along with regulatory agency knowledge
- 5Leadership or mentoring experience valued
