What You'll Do10
- 1Research develop design fabricate modify evaluate electronic apparatus components ensuring timely completion and quality
- 2Prepare engineering sketches specifications for equipment installation
- 3Document proprietary hardware software product development schedules costs and performance weaknesses
- 4Perform applied research design new products to meet quality standards and business objectives
- 5Produce products using cost effective efficient methods
- 6Analyze electronic components including power generation transmission distribution rotating machinery illumination wire communication systems servomechanisms circuit theory computer design development instrumentation radio communications semiconductor devices solid state devices television systems
- 7Obtain and maintain DoD Secret security clearance required for position
- 8Lead system design integration tasks across multiple electrical elements
- 9Collaborate with mechanical and software teams throughout product development lifecycle
- 10Support system test teams through debugging and drive improvements
Requirements10
- 1U.S. government security clearance active DoD Secret clearance required after day one
- 2U.S. citizenship mandatory for clearance eligibility
- 3STEM degree minimum 5 years relevant experience or advanced degree with 3 years experience
- 4Digital analog product design experience including microprocessor systems low power supplies communication subsystems
- 5Mixed signal design proficiency with SoC FPGA A/D converters digital waveform generators mixed signal modules and subassemblies
- 6Test procedure development test fixture creation EMI/EMC standards knowledge for military applications
- 7ALM tool proficiency including Jira Confluence DOORS MatLab LT Spice DX
- 8RF circuitry interfacing high speed A/D D/A conversion experience
- 9Preference for experience with ALM tools version control collaboration platforms
- 10Familiarity with MIL standards and embedded processor systems
