Lead IC engineering for electromechanical product development and mentor a growing team. Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing functions to scale from prototype to pilot and production. This role challenges complex design decisions in a fast-moving robotics context that impacts billions of braiding minutes saved. You will help create category-defining devices that customers actually love.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and own a subassembly from 3D CAD through pilot and toward production ready parts
  • 2Review design work across the team to reduce complexity and raise design standards
  • 3Apply DFM DFA judgment and prepare for pilot builds supplier engagement and contract-manufacturer handoff
  • 4Mentor engineers set practical best practices and standards and strengthen engineering culture
  • 5Collaborate with electrical industrial design manufacturing and suppliers to deliver the HaloBraid system
  • 6Take designs through pilot or production and ensure manufacturability and serviceability
  • 7Lead test/experiment decision frameworks to validate designs and iterate
  • 8Review CAD for design assembly and serviceability issues
  • 9Provide product roadmap input and production-transfer experience
  • 10Interface with CM supplier and manage BOM ownership when applicable

  • 110+ years in electromechanical product development
  • 2Strong mechanical architecture and product-design judgment
  • 3Track record delivering designs through pilot or production
  • 4Ability to review CAD and identify design assembly and serviceability issues
  • 5Fluency with control drawings tolerances assemblies and manufacturability
