What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and prototype 3D CAD concepts to validate designs and enable rapid iteration
  • 2Design and verify mechanical and electromechanical systems with emphasis on reliability and safety
  • 3Develop test methods and fixtures to validate performance, durability, and serviceability
  • 4Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure correct fabrication, assembly, and installation for new and existing products
  • 5Improve manufacturing processes by selecting and modifying equipment used in fabrication and assembly
  • 6Prepare technical reports summarizing data, findings, and trends for stakeholders
  • 7Support customers and internal teams with timely technical inquiries and design clarifications
  • 8Contribute to development of manufacturing and test procedures and operator trainings
  • 9Ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards throughout design and development
  • 10Provide ongoing engineering support during installation, commissioning, and field troubleshooting

Requirements10

  • 1Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
  • 2At least 3+ years of professional experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer
  • 3Proficiency with SolidWorks for 3D design, modeling, and simulation
  • 4Experience with full product lifecycle development from concept through commercialization
  • 5Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • 6Ability to develop and interpret work instructions and technical documentation
  • 7Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex systems
  • 8Effective communication skills for cross functional collaboration and customer support
  • 9Experience using 3D CAD tools and additive manufacturing to model and prototype concepts
  • 10Experience designing for reliability, safety, manufacturability, assembly, inspection, ergonomics, and user-friendliness
