Principal Consultant, Gas Utility EAM & Digital Transformation
Overview
Lead enterprise scale EAM and digital transformation programs for gas utility clients, guiding multi-workstream delivery and governance at the C-suite level. Drive integration across IBM Maximo, SAP PM/EAM, ERP, GIS, SCADA, IoT and mobile platforms using API-led and event-driven patterns. Shape roadmaps, data governance, and regulatory reporting while growing Infosys Utilities practice.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and govern end-to-end transformation programs for gas utilities across 15–40+ blended onshore/offshore team members, PMO governance, and engagement P&L
- 2Architect enterprise integration between platforms such as IBM Maximo and SAP PM/EAM with ERP systems and GIS using API-led and event-driven patterns
- 3Lead data governance, asset hierarchies, master data standards, and regulatory reporting supporting PHMSA, DIMP, and DOT requirements
- 4Define EAM roadmaps and maturity assessments driving modernization of asset management, work management, and compliance processes
- 5Provide executive-level stewardship and governance through steering committees, business cases, and hyper care phases
- 6Drive business development in gas utilities and broader energy accounts, shaping RFPs, proposals, and SOWs while cultivating C-suite relationships
- 7Mentor consulting teams, contribute to a Utilities community of practice, and collaborate across service lines to deliver integrated solutions
- 8Ensure alignment with regulatory and safety standards and facilitate governance across multi-workstream programs
- 9Travel 4 days a week to client locations to deliver impact and maintain client relationships
- 10Support divestiture planning and strategic initiatives within the gas utility sector
Requirements7
- 1Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent
- 2Willingness to travel 4 days a week to multiple client locations
- 3Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
- 4Experience leading enterprise-scale EAM and digital transformation in gas utilities
- 5Strong background in asset and work management, compliance, DIMP and DOT reporting
- 6Familiarity with PHMSA regulatory requirements and gas operations across distribution, transmission, and storage
- 7Proven ability to manage multi-workstream PMOs, engagement P&L, and executive sponsorship
