Overview

You will lead high-impact operational transformation across utility programs, owning process redesign for GIS, mapping, and asset data workflows. As Program Manager, you'll evaluate current-state processes, design future-state models, and drive measurable gains in efficiency and data quality. You'll work at the intersection of operations, GIS, quality, and program leadership, aligning improvements with Asset Knowledge Management objectives. This role demands structured problem-solving and stakeholder influence at all levels, with a hybrid schedule and occasional travel.

What You'll Do8

  • 1Lead end-to-end process improvement initiatives across utility operations, GIS, and asset data workflows, focusing on mapping and field-to-system integration.
  • 2Develop current-state and future-state process maps using Visio and BPMN to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
  • 3Design and implement Lean-based solutions to improve throughput and data quality, establishing standardized workflows and governance.
  • 4Coordinate across multiple workstreams, facilitating working sessions and decision-making forums to drive alignment and adoption.
  • 5Translate business objectives into structured execution plans with clear milestones, deliverables, and KPIs to track process efficiency.
  • 6Establish monitoring dashboards to track performance, integrating lessons learned and PDCA methodologies for continuous improvement.
  • 7Partner with GIS, data, quality, and engineering teams to ensure process alignment across systems and workflows.
  • 8Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs and RACI frameworks, to establish a gold standard process architecture.

Requirements8

  • 15-10+ years of experience in process improvement, consulting, or utility operations, with a proven record leading cross-functional transformation.
  • 2Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, GIS, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 3Lean Six Sigma certification (Black Belt or Green Belt) strongly preferred.
  • 4Strong process mapping and workflow design experience with Visio and BPMN.
  • 5Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions in regulated utility environments.
  • 6Experience working with GIS, asset data, or utility operational workflows preferred.
  • 7Excellent facilitation, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
  • 8Ability to influence without authority in matrixed organizations.
