Overview
You will define the long-term technology strategy and lead modernization across engineering as the senior-most technical architect. This hands-on role, not management, owns establishing engineering standards, modernizing legacy platforms, and designing the future-state shared data platform. You will mentor engineers and drive adoption of .NET and Cloud technologies. - 5Mentor senior engineers and principal developers in architectural best practices.
- 6Drive adoption of Kubernetes and Docker for containerized microservices.
- 7Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to align technology with company goals.
- 8Evaluate and select third-party technologies and tools to fill capability gaps.
Requirements8
- 115+ years in software engineering with a focus on architecture and design.
- 25+ years as a principal or enterprise architect in a large-scale environment.
- 3Expert proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET.
- 4Deep experience with Azure or AWS and cloud-native patterns.
- 5Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture.
- 6Proven track record of modernizing legacy systems (e.g., .NET Framework to .NET 8).
- 7Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- 8Excellent communication and mentoring skills, with ability to influence at all levels.
