Enterprise Architect, Cloud & Application Modernization
Overview
You will own the technology strategy and architecture standards for a large enterprise in Pittsburgh, defining target-state roadmaps that align with business objectives. Reporting to the CIO, you will work with a team of architects and engineers to drive cloud adoption, application modernization, and data strategy across the organization. Your mandate includes establishing governance and leading emerging technology initiatives. What You'll Do8
- 1Define enterprise architecture standards, principles, and target-state roadmaps.
- 2Lead architecture governance processes, reviewing and approving solution designs.
- 3Drive AWS cloud adoption strategy, including migration planning and landing zone design.
- 4Execute application modernization initiatives using Kubernetes and Java microservices.
- 5Shape the enterprise data strategy, including Snowflake and Databricks for analytics and AI.
- 6Evaluate and pilot emerging technologies such as AI/ML and IoT architectures.
- 7Collaborate with business and IT leaders to align roadmaps with strategic goals.
- 8Establish architecture metrics and ensure compliance across all projects.
Requirements8
- 110+ years in enterprise architecture or solution architecture roles.
- 25+ years leading architecture governance and standards.
- 33+ years hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and architecture.
- 4Proven track record of application modernization using Kubernetes and Java.
- 5Deep understanding of data platforms like Snowflake and Databricks.
- 6Experience with TOGAF framework and architecture certification.
- 7Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- 8Onsite presence in Pittsburgh required.
