Portfolio Analytics & Strategy Senior, Community Development Banking
Overview
You will own portfolio analytics and strategy for PNC's Community Development Banking, managing $1B+ in loan portfolios and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with deal teams, investors, and capital markets to execute complex transactions. Use Python, SQL, and Tableau to build predictive models and drive risk-adjusted returns. This role offers direct exposure to credit risk and regulatory reporting in a top-tier financial institution.
What You'll Do10
- 1Review commercial and legal due diligence documents to ensure compliance with deal structures and regulatory requirements.
- 2Advise customers, investors, and internal deal teams on transaction execution, including collateral and construction requirements.
- 3Verify work processes to ensure completeness, accuracy, and conformance to credit approvals and service levels.
- 4Determine loan disbursement approvals or escalate as needed based on documentation review.
- 5Provide financial and regulatory reporting and analyses to maintain controls over reporting processes.
- 6Build complex business performance, risk, and operational analytics, including models to assess market, credit, and operational risk.
- 7Analyze large datasets using Python, SQL, and Tableau to improve risk-adjusted returns and drive profitable growth.
- 8Develop and implement business strategies that improve lending decisions, manage risk, and increase revenues.
- 9Establish baselines for strategies and track performance against expectations using predictive models.
- 10Design and enhance standard reporting suites for product and portfolio reviews, collaborating with finance and risk partners.
Requirements10
- 13+ years in portfolio analytics, credit risk, or financial analysis within banking.
- 2Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field.
- 3SQL proficiency for querying large datasets.
- 4Python or R for statistical modeling and data analysis.
- 5Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
- 6Strong understanding of credit risk and operational risk frameworks.
- 7Predictive modeling experience using regression or machine learning techniques.
- 8Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements in financial services.
- 9Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable business strategies.
- 10Experience with capital markets or commercial real estate lending preferred.
