What You'll Do11
- 1Prepares and monitors account analysis operating expenses and reconciliations
- 2Prepares preview statements and distributes to bookkeeping for accurate recurring charges
- 3Calculates and records depreciation and amortization of fixed assets
- 4Prepares journal entries and processes accounts payable for cash receipts
- 5Prepares budgets for rental income and monthly financial reports
- 6Coordinates with property managers to ensure financial compliance
- 7Evaluates and prepares annual budgets and reviews expense ledgers
- 8Assists with reconciling balance sheets and income statements
- 9Supervises accounting information and aids stakeholders with data review
- 10Ensures compliance with loan and bond documents
- 11Maintains records of all account receivables
Requirements11
- 15+ years of general accounting experience
- 2Real estate property accounting experience required
- 3CPA preferred
- 4Excel proficiency required
- 5Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
- 6Yardi software experience preferred
- 7Ability to utilize multiple word processing spreadsheet and accounting software systems
- 8Sound knowledge about financial and real estate assets
- 9Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 10Result oriented and prompt performance
- 11Availability during normal business hours
Salary Insight
$65 - $70k per year
