Overview
You will own the cleanliness and curb appeal of a multifamily property, preparing vacant units and maintaining common areas to white-glove standards. Reporting to the Resident Manager, you will coordinate with maintenance staff on a defined schedule. This role demands physical stamina: walking, climbing, and lifting up to 25 pounds in varying weather. You will become the face of the property, resolving resident concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do8
- 1Clean the business office, restrooms, laundry rooms, model units, and common areas on a rotating schedule
- 2Prepare vacant units for showing, ensuring spotless presentation and functionality
- 3Maintain the exterior image: sweep driveways, parking lots, curbs, dumpster areas, and hallways
- 4Resolve resident maintenance requests and concerns with a friendly, professional attitude
- 5Report maintenance issues and safety hazards to the supervisor immediately
- 6Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering as needed
- 7Follow OSHA safety guidelines, using personal protective equipment when handling chemicals
- 8Complete additional assignments from the manager to support property operations
Requirements8
- 1High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- 2Some related experience cleaning multifamily or commercial buildings preferred
- 3Knowledge of safe handling and application of cleaning agents and equipment
- 4Able to follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision
- 5Able to complete tasks within set timeframes and prioritize competing demands
- 6Physical stamina: stand and walk for extended periods, climb stairs and ladders, lift and carry 25 pounds regularly
- 7Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between properties
- 8Basic computer skills for logging work orders and using property management software (e.g., Yardi)
