Plasma Processing Technician at CSL Plasma

You will own the complete plasma collection process at a high-volume CSL Plasma center, performing venipuncture and managing pheresis procedures to ensure donor safety and product quality. You will work with a team of phlebotomists and nurses, reporting to the Group Leader or Supervisor, in a fast-paced clinical environment. You operate plasmapheresis equipment, monitor donor vitals, and maintain strict quality control. This role sits within a collaborative team focused on donor experience and regulatory integrity. You'll get hands-on with automated systems and cold-chain logistics, with direct impact on every donation.

You will manage daily donor center operations at a high-volume plasma collection facility, ensuring compliance with FDA and OSHA regulations. Your team of 10-15 staff will rely on you to maintain production, safety, and quality standards. You will work closely with quality assurance and regulatory affairs, leading continuous improvement and CAPA initiatives. 3+ years of people management experience is required for this role.

Lead plasma collection operations ensuring efficient donor experiences and high-quality product outcomes. Oversee venipuncture and pheresis processes while maintaining strict adherence to SOPs and FDA guidelines. Drive improvements in donor satisfaction and operational efficiency.

You will evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures at CSL Plasma's Orange City center, serving up to 330 U.S. locations. You'll perform medical history reviews, assess symptoms, and provide emergency care, with 1+ years of healthcare experience required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. You will execute the plasmapheresis process at an Octapharma plasma center in Raleigh, NC, performing venipunctures and operating automated collection machines. You will ensure compliance with FDA approved SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, and GMP, maintain donor safety and product quality, and handle documentation and equipment maintenance. This contract role offers formal training and direct exposure to regulatory standards in a high-volume medical environment.
