You will own financial performance and cost discipline for the Mount Juliet manufacturing site, partnering with Operations, Engineering, and Site Leadership to drive transparency and alignment with NAM and Global Supply Chain standards. You will manage fixed cost control, Capex governance, and plant project controlling, ensuring every dollar is tracked and justified. As a key finance partner, you will support productivity initiatives, challenge assumptions, and provide actionable insights. This role stands out for its direct impact on plant profitability and its exposure to cross-functional decision-making. You will leverage SAP, Excel, and Power BI to turn data into decisions, shaping the financial future of a major production facility.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Monitor plant fixed costs and manufacturing overheads, analyzing monthly variances against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
  • 2Drive productivity and discretionary spend control initiatives by tracking headcount and expenses against targets.
  • 3Support Capex investment governance, preparing ROI and payback analyses for investment requests and tracking spend against approved budgets.
  • 4Ensure proper capitalization and fixed asset accounting, participating in post-investment reviews to validate returns.
  • 5Provide financial controlling for ETO projects from launch to close-out, monitoring costs, forecasts, and risks.
  • 6Partner with Engineering, Industrialization, and Operations to challenge assumptions and improve financial discipline.
  • 7Prepare plant financial reports, KPIs, and dashboards, delivering monthly performance and project reviews.
  • 8Support quarterly forecast and rolling estimate cycles, ensuring accurate financial projections.
  • 9Execute month-end close activities including accruals, allocations, and variance explanations, and assist with inventory counts and audits.
  • 10Standardize and automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and financial visibility, leveraging SAP and Power BI.

Requirements8

  • 1Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
  • 22+ years of finance or cost controlling experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 3Working knowledge of cost accounting, fixed costs, Capex, and project financials.
  • 4Strong Excel skills; SAP experience preferred.
  • 5Experience supporting plant or industrial projects preferred.
  • 6Exposure to Power BI or other data visualization tools preferred.
  • 7Strong business-partner mindset with analytical and detail-oriented approach.
  • 8Comfortable challenging results constructively to drive accountability.
