What You'll Do11
- 1Coordinate daily and weekly production schedules based on orders forecasts and capacity constraints
- 2Review backlog open orders and production priorities to develop executable manufacturing plans
- 3Create release and update work orders and ERP MRP transactions as schedules change
- 4Communicate schedule changes shortages and delivery risks to Production Purchasing Logistics and Customer Service
- 5Monitor raw material availability and partner with Purchasing to prevent supply interruptions
- 6Track work-in-process schedule adherence and escalate issues impacting output or delivery dates
- 7Maintain planning ERP MRP data such as lead times lot sizes and reorder settings
- 8Prepare and distribute planning reports schedule updates and KPI summaries for stakeholders
- 9Participate in daily weekly operations meetings to review bottlenecks and recovery plans
- 10Support new product introductions product transitions and related planning activities
- 11Contribute to continuous improvement efforts related to scheduling inventory control and ERP processes
Requirements9
- 1Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management Business Operations Management Industrial Engineering or related field
- 2Experience in production planning scheduling expediting materials coordination or similar manufacturing roles
- 3Working knowledge of ERP or MRP systems for order management inventory and production planning
- 4Strong Excel and data handling skills to analyze orders inventory and scheduling information
- 5Understanding of manufacturing concepts such as lead times capacity BOMs MRP inventory control and scheduling logic
- 6Analytical problem solving skills to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions
- 7Commitment to safety compliance and quality standards
- 8Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- 9Process-oriented mindset with interest in standardization and continuous improvement
