Overview

This role manages a docket of 30 active catastrophic injury cases from intake through resolution at a nationally recognized plaintiff litigation firm in Dallas. You will support attorneys on high-stakes matters including trucking accidents, infant brain injury, and sexual assault claims. The team handles severe personal injury and wrongful death litigation with a focus on trial preparation and courtroom support. What You'll Do8

  • 1Manage a docket of 30 active cases from intake through resolution, prioritizing deadlines and client communication.
  • 2Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence for catastrophic injury claims.
  • 3Conduct legal research and assist with all phases of discovery, including document production and review.
  • 4Maintain regular contact with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses to move cases forward.
  • 5Organize and maintain complex and sensitive case files with strict confidentiality.
  • 6Prepare trial binders, exhibits, witness lists, subpoenas, and other trial materials for high-stakes litigation.
  • 7Provide onsite trial support and travel as needed for trial proceedings.
  • 8Coordinate with medical experts and case managers to develop damages evidence.

Requirements7

  • 13+ years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience, preferably with a Texas law firm.
  • 2Strong legal writing, proofreading, and document drafting skills.
  • 3Experience managing cases independently and handling multiple deadlines.
  • 4Excellent communication and client service skills.
  • 5Ability to work with sensitive and emotionally challenging case details.
  • 6Trial preparation experience required; actual trial experience is highly preferred.
  • 7Spanish bilingual skills are strongly preferred.
