Overview
Lead the Physical Damage adjusting team in Tampa overseeing claims severity rental car management and customer relationships. Manage a team of 6-8 managers and 100 indirect reports. Provide guidance on employee performance and support the full employee lifecycle.
What You'll Do9
- 1Own daily operations of the Physical Damage adjusting team within the assigned territory
- 2Manage claims severity and coordinate rental car services for policyholders and partners
- 3Handle relationship management with internal and external stakeholders including body shops
- 4Provide performance guidance and counsel to direct reports
- 5Support recruitment promotion and termination processes
- 6Travel within the territory to engage with customers and partners
- 7Drive operational improvements using data analytics
- 8Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance claim resolution
- 9Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and company policies
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor's degree in business risk management insurance or related field
- 25+ years leadership experience in insurance or similar industry
- 3I-CAR certification preferred
- 4Strong written and verbal communication skills
- 5Proven track record of managing large teams effectively
- 6Excellent problem-solving abilities under pressure
- 7Commitment to GEICO's values of ownership adaptability and collaboration
