Overview

As a Phlebotomist Administrative Assistant at One Medical you will perform venipuncture and provide clerical support to ensure a smooth patient journey from intake to follow-up. You will be the first point of contact for patients and a key ambassador of the One Medical experience. You will contribute to an in-office environment that balances clinical care with exceptional service and behind-the-scenes coordination within a collaborative team.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build exceptional patient experiences using C I CARE during clinical and administrative interactions
  • 2Provide venipuncture services for a diverse patient population
  • 3Perform extended scope duties including non blood specimen collection EKGs vitals vaccines and related tasks
  • 4Maintain accurate specimen labeling handling and processing plus inventory management and sterilization
  • 5Answer patient messages assist with lab cases and support providers and virtual medical team with clerical duties
  • 6Handle front of house duties including check in check out insurance verification and test preparation
  • 7Contribute to team development through rounds huddles problem solving and ad hoc provider support
  • 8Perform opening and closing duties and maintain office spaces and supplies
  • 9Master technology tools such as Slack G suite Zoom Circulation RingCentral and EMR to complete daily work
  • 10Support patient care and administrative workflows with a focus on accessibility and continuous improvement

Requirements9

  • 1Active phlebotomy certification to practice in WA
  • 2At least 6 months of relevant Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist experience outside of training externship
  • 3Strong customer service skills and ability to build patient relationships
  • 4Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 5High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 6Proficiency with computers including typing navigating the internet and multiple software systems
  • 7Experience working with diverse multidisciplinary teams including remote teams
  • 8Demonstrated confidence and trust during venipuncture with patient-centered care
  • 9Proven adaptability and quick learning in new situations including change management
