Overview

Phlebotomist and Administrative Assistant supporting patient care and front desk operations at One Medical. You will perform venipuncture, clinical support tasks, and front desk duties to ensure a seamless patient experience. Work closely with providers, practice coordinators, and the virtual medical team in a collaborative office setting in Chicago. What You'll Do10

  • 1Build positive patient experiences through CI CARE and front desk tasks while performing venipuncture and clinical support
  • 2Deliver best in class venipuncture services across pediatric to geriatric patients
  • 3Handle extended scope duties including specimen collection, EKGs, vitals, vaccines, and swabs
  • 4Maintain accurate specimen labeling, handling, processing, inventory, and sterilization
  • 5Respond to patient messages, assist with lab cases, and support providers with clerical tasks
  • 6Assist with front of house duties including check in/out, insurance verification, and preparation of tests
  • 7Contribute to team development via huddles, rounds, and problem solving
  • 8Perform opening and closing duties, maintain office appearance, restock supplies
  • 9Master technology tools such as Slack, G-suite, Zoom, and EMR systems to complete daily work
  • 10Provide excellent patient and teammate support while adhering to One Medical service standards

Requirements10

  • 16 months of experience as Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of training externships
  • 2Strong customer service and communication skills
  • 3High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 4Proficiency with computers and multiple software systems
  • 5Experience collaborating with diverse, multi-disciplinary teams
  • 6Demonstrated confidence and trust-building during specimen collection
  • 7Adaptability and willingness to learn in changing environments
  • 8Ability to manage patient interactions with empathy and professionalism
  • 9Eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • 10On-site role, Chicago IL, full-time 40 hours/week
