Philanthropy Operations Specialist
Overview

Reporting to the Director, Philanthropy Operations and working closely with the Executive Director, Gift Administration & Operations, the Operations Specialist supports operational excellence, business process improvement, and technology adoption across the Philanthropy department. This role drives AI automation and digital transformation while collaborating with Central Services and frontline fundraising teams to enhance efficiency, data quality, and staff experience.
What You'll Do11
- 1Analyze existing Philanthropy business processes and recommend improvements
- 2Lead and support AI-enabled process improvement automation and digital transformation initiatives
- 3Research evaluate test and implement emerging AI tools and technologies
- 4Support Central Services and frontline fundraising teams with operational and technology solutions
- 5Document workflows standard operating procedures business requirements and training materials
- 6Assist with administration and support of philanthropy technology platforms and content management systems
- 7Develop and deliver training related to AI tools philanthropy systems and operational processes
- 8Develop operational analytics via metrics dashboards and performance indicators
- 9Support compliance security governance and data integrity standards
- 10Coordinate vendor evaluations demonstrations and implementation activities
- 11Serve as backup to the Director for technology administration user support training documentation workflow analysis project coordination and vendor management
Requirements6
- 1Bachelor's degree required
- 23-5 years related work experience required
- 3Project management experience commensurate with requirements of this position
- 4Strong analytical technology communication project coordination training and problem-solving skills
- 5Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and AI-enabled tools
- 6Experience in healthcare philanthropy and fundraising CRM systems
Salary Insight
$75 - $95k per year
