Overview
A contract Pharmacy Technician will own packaging and shipping prescriptions for a busy fulfillment pharmacy at scale. The role runs Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 6:30 pm, in Eastpointe, MI, with potential for extension through year end. You will fill and label prescriptions, operate packaging equipment, reconcile cycle medication exchanges, process returns, and manage daily wholesaler orders. This position emphasizes hands-on fulfillment over data entry, and requires strong accuracy and efficiency to ensure on-time delivery to patients.
What You'll Do10
- 1Fill and label prescriptions including multi-dose LTC packaging
- 2Operate packaging equipment and complete production runs
- 3Check in and reconcile cycle medication exchanges from care facilities
- 4Process returned medications and apply credits
- 5Receive daily wholesaler orders, stock shelves, rotate inventory, maintain stock levels
- 6Pull products and scan NDCs for pharmacist final review
- 7Maintain an organized, clean work environment to support timely medication delivery
- 8Ensure accurate medication fulfillment and on-time delivery to patients
- 9Support inventory management and quality control
- 10Collaborate with pharmacy staff to meet daily fulfillment targets
Requirements7
- 1Active Michigan pharmacy technician license is required
- 2Minimum of 1+ years pharmacy technician experience
- 3Experience in closed-door pharmacies or LTC settings preferred but not required
- 4PTCB certification is a plus but not required
- 5Must be a quick learner comfortable with new software systems; no Frameworks software experience necessary
- 6This role does not involve data entry, focusing on hands-on fulfillment tasks
- 7Contract through at least 13 weeks, starting immediately
