What You'll Do11
- 1Provide customer service to patients dropping off or picking up prescription orders
- 2Enter and process prescriptions into the computer and consult with pharmacist as needed
- 3Retrieve count and set up orders to support pharmacist workflow
- 4Create and update patient health and insurance profiles in the system
- 5Answer phone calls and troubleshoot insurance coverage issues
- 6Receive inventory stock shelves rotate stock and verify documentation
- 7Prepare pharmacy inventory order medications and dispose of expired stock
- 8Operate cash drawer at point of sale while following 340B pharmacy policies
- 9Communicate with medical staff for refill authorizations and appointment referrals
- 10Maintain pharmacy records and comply with CCI policies and procedures
- 11Assist in training new pharmacy employees and perform back-office tasks
Requirements11
- 1Pharmacy Technician certification required
- 2High school diploma or equivalent
- 31-2 years retail pharmacy or FQHC experience
- 4Understanding of the 340B discount program
- 5Ability to work with diverse populations
- 6Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- 7Strong communication and customer service skills
- 8Knowledge of insurance processing and claim resolution
- 9Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
- 10Proficiency with electronic health records
- 11Commitment to patient safety and confidentiality
