Overview
You will process prescriptions for 100 million patients, ensuring accurate selection, labeling, and shipping of specialty medications. You will work with Accredo and Evernorth Health Services in a production environment. This role combines hands-on pharmacy work with operational efficiency. What You'll Do8
- 1Process new and refill prescription requests using Accredo systems
- 2Select and retrieve medications from inventory shelves
- 3Verify quantities and prepare labels for bottles
- 4Send orders to pharmacy staff for pharmacy-based program completion
- 5Select packing materials and prepare packages for shipment
- 6Enclose client-specified materials and affix shipping labels
- 7Sort packages by carrier and clean equipment
- 8Replenish workstation supplies like pill bottles and seals
Requirements10
- 1High School diploma or GED required
- 2Pharmacy Technician experience preferred
- 3AZ Pharmacy Trainee License required, with AZ Pharmacy Technician license upon expiration
- 4Basic math skills and general PC knowledge (Microsoft Office, Internet, Email)
- 5Strong verbal and written communication skills
- 6Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
- 7Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- 8Willingness to work flexible schedule for peak volumes
- 9Willingness to learn internal systems and processes
- 10Stand for lengthy periods and lift up to 50 lbs
