Pharmacist, Critical Care and Clinical Pharmacy - Abrazo Arrowhead Campus
Overview
The Pharmacist will lead clinical pharmacy services across acute care areas including ED and ICU, optimizing therapy and reducing adverse events at scale. You will participate in critical care rounds and contribute to Pharmacy & Therapeutics decisions with a focus on cost-effective medication use. You’ll train staff and students, support quality improvement projects, and help implement disease management protocols. This role is embedded in a collaborative hospital team that values patient-centered care and continuous professional development.
What You'll Do5
- 1Participate in critical care rounds and optimize drug therapy outcomes
- 2Provide pharmacokinetics services and clinical pharmacy support in ED, ICU, and Hospitalists Service
- 3Develop evidence-based practices, order sets, and lead medication use evaluations
- 4Educate medical, nursing, and pharmacy staff on clinical initiatives and proper drug use
- 5Assist with Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee meetings and present relevant data
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD
- 2Current Pharmacist license in Arizona
- 3Pharmacy practice residency or equivalent clinical experience
- 4ACLS and BCPS preferred
- 5Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred
