What You'll Do8
- 1Own patient safety protocols including pre-screening and radiation safety documentation
- 2Produce high-resolution diagnostic images through precise scanner operation and parameter selection
- 3Communicate effectively with patients and radiologists to enhance care experiences
- 4Train new technologists and PC technicians on equipment usage and best practices
- 5Troubleshoot scanner, PACS, and peripheral equipment to minimize downtime
- 6Maintain sterile injection techniques and adhere to regulatory standards for radioactive materials
- 7Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve imaging workflow efficiency
- 8Implement quality control measures to ensure diagnostic accuracy
Requirements8
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
- 2Certification in Nuclear Medicine by NMTCB or ARRT (N) preferred
- 3State license and valid CPR certification
- 41-2 years experience in Nuclear Medicine procedures preferred
- 5Ability to work at multiple locations within the organization
- 6Valid state driver's license for travel requirements
- 7COVID-19 vaccination compliance mandatory
- 8Background check and drug screen required before employment
