What You'll Do18

  • 1Administer radiopharmaceuticals agents intravenously
  • 2Map radiopharmaceuticals agents using a PET/CT scanner to generate computerized images
  • 3Perform diagnostic CT exams with intravenous contrast dye administration
  • 4Screen patients to prevent adverse reactions to contrast agents
  • 5Follow ALARA radiation safety principles during all imaging procedures
  • 6Inform physicists of equipment-related issues and operational challenges
  • 7Schedule, maintain, and repair all assigned imaging equipment
  • 8Conduct equipment quality assurance and document downtime
  • 9Investigate non-conformance to treatment standards and report findings
  • 10Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accurate patient records
  • 11Explain imaging procedures and emergency protocols to patients
  • 12Maintain visual and auditory communication with patients throughout exams
  • 13Assess patient reactions and document observations for clinical teams
  • 14Reinforce patient education regarding imaging procedures and side effects
  • 15Manage patient flow within a maximum capacity of 12 patients per technologist
  • 16Access patient ports and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
  • 17Operate imaging machines through control mechanisms or direct physical interaction
  • 18Inspect equipment and facilities to identify and resolve operational issues

Requirements11

  • 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
  • 2Arizona licensure in Nuclear Medicine Technology and Computed Tomography
  • 3Valid CPR certification
  • 4Minimum lifting capability of 25 pounds
  • 5Ability to stand for extended periods
  • 6Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 7Excellent attention to detail in documentation and patient interactions
  • 8Proficiency with electronic medical records systems
  • 9Commitment to ethical practice and patient confidentiality
  • 10Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • 11Experience with radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles
