What You'll Do11
- 1Provide overall leadership and day-to-day oversight of PSH program and agency owned housing portfolio ensuring high quality service delivery effective property operations and compliance with agency policies HUD regulations grant requirements and local housing standards.
- 2Supervise coach and evaluate case managers and assigned staff establishing performance expectations providing training and technical assistance resolving challenges and fostering accountability collaboration and continuous improvement.
- 3Oversee delivery of person centered trauma informed supportive services ensuring timely resident engagement individualized service planning housing navigation and coordination of resources promoting housing stability health employment and self sufficiency.
- 4Direct all property management functions including housing referrals lease administration rent collection vacancy management inspections unit turnover maintenance coordination eviction processes and tenant issue resolution to ensure efficient operations and high quality resident experiences.
- 5Monitor program performance through financial operational and outcome data identifying trends developing corrective action plans and implementing continuous improvement strategies.
- 6Maintain accurate documentation oversee data management systems monitor file quality and prepare timely fiscal operational and performance reports for agency leadership and external funding sources.
- 7Coordinate with facilities staff municipalities landlords regulatory agencies and community partners to address maintenance needs inspections licensing requirements and compliance issues affecting agency owned housing.
- 8Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with service providers housing partners government agencies and community stakeholders to strengthen service coordination expand housing opportunities improve resident outcomes and support community wide efforts to end homelessness.
- 9Represent Wayne Metro in internal and external meetings provide regular updates to leadership on program and property performance identify emerging operational needs and strategic opportunities and support development of Permanent Supportive Housing services and agency housing operations.
- 10Demonstrate professionalism collaboration accountability and adherence to Wayne Metro policies while supporting positive workplace culture.
- 11Other duties as assigned.
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading teams in property management
- 3Bachelor’s degree in Human Services Public Administration Social Work or Business Administration
- 44 years of relevant experience
- 5Knowledge of Detroit demographics and Out- Wayne County low income populations
- 6Ability to design outreach education and referral services targeting individuals facing economic social health age and educational barriers
- 7Proficiency in Microsoft Applications Word Excel PowerPoint and working knowledge of Google technology
- 8Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- 9Exceptional interpersonal and professional skills including professional appearance tact punctuality and dependability
- 10Minimum competency in evaluating programs proposing strategic efficiencies and communicating effectively both orally and in writing
- 11Ability to provide compassionate empathetic services to diverse populations with resilience and adaptability
