Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU RN Travel Nurse

Seeking a registered nurse to provide critical care services in a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU. This full-time day shift role involves managing complex pediatric cardiac cases. The ideal candidate will operate within a 1:2 patient ratio. Responsibilities include managing ventilators and ECMO systems. What You'll Do11
- 1Own ventilator management and ECMO support for pediatric cardiac patients
- 2Drive hemodynamic monitoring and neurologic care protocols
- 3Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for patient optimization
- 4Maintain strict adherence to PALS and BLS standards
- 5Provide critical care oversight during daily rounds
- 6Implement evidence-based practices for congenital heart disease
- 7Coordinate with local agencies for patient transfers
- 8Document all patient interactions using Epic charting system
- 9Participate in bi-weekly orientation sessions
- 10Adhere to strict attendance policies regarding absence limits
- 11Support supervisory requirements for travel nurses
Requirements10
- 1Active NC or Compact RN license in hand
- 2Current BLS and PALS certifications
- 3Minimum one year of pediatric critical care experience
- 4Previous charge nurse experience preferred
- 5Supervisory reference from within the last year
- 6Flu vaccine administered between October 31 and March 31
- 7Full Social Security Number and date of birth provided
- 8Ability to work every other weekend
- 9Travel availability for immediate start
- 10Preference for candidates with LTAC or trauma level experience
