What You'll Do7
- 1Communicate with third-party payers for patient verification, ensuring accurate coverage details.
- 2Maintain knowledge of regulations pertaining to financial assistance programs, applying updates as needed.
- 3Facilitate the application process for financial assistance, guiding patients through required steps.
- 4Accurately type and document patient financial information in Meditech.
- 5Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to resolve insurance discrepancies.
- 6Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, using Meditech to record data.
- 7Educate patients on financial assistance options and required documentation.
Requirements5
- 1Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 2Accurate typing skills.
- 3Preferred CAC certification.
- 4Preferred Meditech experience.
- 5Preferred experience in patient financial counseling or healthcare registration.
