Parts Specialist National Indoor RV Centers
Overview
We seek a Parts Specialist to lead inventory management and supplier relations at National Indoor RV Centers. This role drives compliance and operational efficiency across our RV parts operations.
What You'll Do11
- 1Maintain compliance with corporate purchasing policies and procedures
- 2Create and process requisitions for RV parts inventory
- 3Research and compare suppliers for reliability and cost-efficiency
- 4Negotiate total cost and delivery terms with vendors
- 5Place purchase orders and confirm order details
- 6Manage inventory levels and reconcile open purchase orders
- 7Monitor backorders and coordinate resolutions with accounts payable
- 8Develop relationships with suppliers and internal contacts
- 9Provide daily updates to customer service about backorders
- 10Maintain accurate transaction records and documentation
- 11Operate forklift to handle parts and organize storage
Requirements10
- 13+ years experience in parts buying with automotive or RV expertise
- 2Strong computer skills for inventory management
- 3Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- 4Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- 5Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- 6Physical stamina for standing walking bending and lifting up to 50 lbs
- 7Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- 8Background check and motor vehicle record clearance
- 9Knowledge of parts for various RV units and subcomponents
- 10Experience with forklift operation and material handling
