Parts Manager, Fleet & Maintenance Operations
Overview
Own shop-level parts operations for safe, timely maintenance execution at scale. Lead inventory accuracy, availability, and cost control while performing hands-on parts handling in Tolleson AZ. Collaborate with mechanics and shop leadership to ensure smooth parts processes and compliant purchasing and receiving. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain cycle counts, audits, and usage tracking to sustain accurate inventories and minimize downtime
- 2Manage min and max levels to maximize parts availability and reduce emergency local purchases
- 3Analyze parts usage data to cut waste and unnecessary spend
- 4Ensure purchasing, receiving and invoicing comply with CRST guidelines and documentation standards
- 5Audit vendor shipments and invoices and resolve pricing or delivery discrepancies
- 6Perform hands-on parts handling including receiving, stocking, organizing and lifting materials
- 7Execute purchasing, receiving, issuing and return processes in line with Parts Team SOPs
- 8Support mechanics and shop leadership by resolving parts issues and maintaining organized storage areas
- 9Provide informal guidance and training to Parts Coordinators and new team members
- 10Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve parts flow and shop efficiency
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Experience in fleet maintenance, transportation or equipment repair environments
- 3Hands-on experience managing parts inventory in a shop or warehouse setting
- 4Strong operational judgment and ability to interpret usage data and take corrective action
- 5Experience using inventory or maintenance systems to track parts and transactions
- 6Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy, organization and compliance
- 7Ability to safely perform physical work in a shop or warehouse environment, including lifting up to 50 pounds
- 8Forklift or material-handling equipment experience (preferred)
- 9Two-year degree (preferred)
- 10Experience improving inventory accuracy or parts flow (preferred)

$51 - $67k per year
