You will own gynecologic care and preventive services for a diverse Bronx population at a well-established practice. Part-Time scheduling offers flexibility within a collaborative team of OB/GYN physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants. What You'll Do8
- 1Diagnose and manage common gynecologic conditions such as fibroids, endometriosis, and pelvic pain.
- 2Perform gynecologic evaluations, screenings, and preventive health exams for women of all ages.
- 3Provide patient education on contraception, menopause, and preventive care strategies.
- 4Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and support staff to coordinate patient care.
- 5Document patient encounters in the EHR system, ensuring accurate and timely records.
- 6Participate in shared call rotation (limited) to support continuity of care.
- 7Drive quality metrics by following evidence-based guidelines for preventive care and screenings.
- 8Build lasting relationships with patients through empathetic, culturally competent communication.
Requirements6
- 1MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- 2Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- 3Active or eligible New York State medical license.
- 4DEA registration or ability to obtain.
- 52+ years experience in outpatient gynecology preferred.
- 6Strong interest in preventive care, patient education, and women's health management.
