OB/GYN Physician, Outpatient Women's Health & Preventive Care
Overview
Join a well-established, community-focused women’s health practice serving a diverse Bronx population. You will own outpatient gynecologic care and preventive services, collaborating with OB/GYN physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants. This part-time or full-time role offers flexible scheduling and no overnight call, with limited shared call. You will practice in a physician-led, value-based care organization recognized for patient-centered care in underserved communities.
What You'll Do6
- 1Deliver outpatient gynecologic evaluations, screenings, and preventive care for a diverse patient panel.
- 2Manage common gynecologic conditions, providing patient education and individualized treatment plans.
- 3Collaborate with a team of OB/GYN physicians and advanced practice providers to ensure coordinated care.
- 4Document clinical encounters accurately in the electronic health record during the first 90 days.
- 5Participate in shared call rotation as needed, with no overnight responsibilities.
- 6Contribute to quality improvement initiatives focused on preventive health and early detection.
Requirements6
- 1MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- 2Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- 3Active or eligible New York State medical license
- 4DEA registration or ability to obtain
- 5Experience in outpatient gynecology preferred
- 6Strong interest in preventive care, patient education, and women’s health management
