OB/GYN Physician, Bronx Women's Health
Overview
Own gynecologic care for a diverse Bronx population at a physician-led, value-based care organization. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology required. Work Monday-Friday with flexible scheduling, no overnight call, and a collaborative team of OB/GYN physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants. This role integrates preventive care and chronic condition management, backed by modern clinical infrastructure and experienced leadership.
What You'll Do8
- 1Diagnose and manage common gynecologic conditions in an outpatient setting.
- 2Perform preventive screenings and well-woman exams, including Pap smears and pelvic exams.
- 3Educate patients on contraception, menopause, and reproductive health.
- 4Conduct gynecologic evaluations and order diagnostic tests such as ultrasound and lab work.
- 5Coordinate care with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to ensure comprehensive treatment.
- 6Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and document patient encounters.
- 7Participate in shared call rotation if applicable, with no overnight call.
- 8Implement evidence-based protocols for preventive care and early detection.
Requirements6
- 1MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- 2Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- 3Active or eligible New York State medical license.
- 4DEA registration or ability to obtain prior to start.
- 5Experience in outpatient gynecology preferred.
- 6Strong interest in preventive care, patient education, and women's health management.
