What You'll Do8
- 1Provide comprehensive gynecologic evaluations and preventive screenings for women of all ages.
- 2Diagnose and manage common gynecologic conditions, including fibroids, endometriosis, and menstrual disorders.
- 3Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including ultrasound and lab panels.
- 4Develop individualized treatment plans with a focus on patient education and shared decision-making.
- 5Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to ensure continuity of care.
- 6Document patient encounters in EHR systems with accurate coding for value-based care metrics.
- 7Participate in shared call rotation and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- 8Mentor clinical staff and support a culture of preventive health and early detection.
Requirements7
- 1MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- 2Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- 3Active or eligible New York State medical license.
- 4DEA registration or ability to obtain prior to start.
- 52+ years of outpatient gynecology experience preferred.
- 6Strong clinical skills in preventive care and women's health management.
- 7Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
