What You'll Do8
- 1Build a patient panel by conducting annual wellness exams, preventive screenings, and gynecologic evaluations in an outpatient setting.
- 2Diagnose and treat a range of gynecological conditions, including menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, and abnormal pap smears.
- 3Develop treatment plans for menopause management, contraceptive counseling, and other women's health issues.
- 4Coordinate with Primary Care Physicians and Nurse Practitioners to deliver integrated, patient-centered care.
- 5Perform gynecologic procedures as applicable, while adhering to clinical best practices and safety standards.
- 6Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic health record, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- 7Educate patients on preventive health and wellness strategies to improve long-term outcomes.
- 8Participate in team-based care meetings to optimize patient flow and quality metrics.
Requirements7
- 1Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited program.
- 2Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- 3Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency program.
- 4Active or eligible New York State medical license.
- 5Current DEA registration or ability to obtain prior to start.
- 6Strong clinical skills in women's health, preventive care, and gynecologic diagnosis.
- 7Commitment to patient education and collaborative care in a community health setting.
