What You'll Do7
- 1Empty and clean commission stalls in the paddock to keep them ready for racing events
- 2Clean paddock stalls and outside grounds, removing waste and debris for a safe environment
- 3Collect, clean, and distribute pads as directed, ensuring they are ready for each race
- 4Learn stall locations and numbers to assist with paddock operations
- 5Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors to complete daily tasks
- 6Track your work and report issues to maintain a clean and orderly paddock
- 7Respond to specific race-day needs, adapting to changing conditions and schedules
Requirements8
- 1High School diploma or equivalent
- 2Basic math skills for counting and inventory tasks
- 3Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- 4Capability to lift up to 30 pounds
- 5Physical stamina to bend, stoop, and kneel
- 6Vision and hearing within normal range
- 7Comfort working in dimly lit, noisy areas
- 8Valid knowledge of PHRC regulations for racetrack operations
