Overview
Packer works night shifts in Sacramento area. This role owns packaging operations at Elk Grove facility. Candidates must follow safety standards and handle food production line tasks.
What You'll Do11
- 1Perform all tasks in strict accordance with Safety and Food Safety Standards
- 2Participate in safety training programs and support safety initiatives
- 3Ensure compliance with SQF GMP HACCP OSHA regulations
- 4Program date coding machines for bags and boxes
- 5Prepare workstation with required materials and maintain organization
- 6Operate Auto Baggers and Ilapak machines
- 7Complete changeovers for vision systems and counter stackers
- 8Enter production information into TGI Machine Log system
- 9Record downtime accurately in Machine Log system
- 10Rotate continuously between packaging tortillas and boxing tortillas
- 11Assist with quality assurance programs including pH verification
Requirements11
- 1Grade school education; High School Diploma or GED is a plus
- 21–2 years of experience operating food manufacturing machinery
- 31–2 years of experience following work task specifications
- 4Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- 5Basic math and calculator proficiency
- 6Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- 7Strong organizational skills for materials and workflow management
- 8Team player who can collaborate with co-workers and leaders
- 9Self-motivated with error identification abilities
- 10Reliable with flexibility for weekend and holiday shifts
- 11Commitment to safety and food safety policies
